NPL Women’s squad finalised with three new additions and one re-signing
Box Hill United is pleased to confirm the final squad members of our NPL Women’s team in season 2024.
Among the fresh faces are Bridie Cooling, Chi Ting and Hatice Kahraman – while Victoria Zikas is a key re-signing at Pythagoras.
Cooling has had a distinguished career in Tasmania, recently playing in the Women’s Super League for South Hobart and was one of the Club’s longest serving players alongside Eve Swain. Cooling was also helping out with coaching the youth sides – an early trait of her leadership qualities.
Ting is a highly-credentialled 28-year-old midfielder/attacker with a background of playing in the Taiwan Mulan Football League for Inter Taoyuan prior to joining Box Hill. For the Chinese Taipei women’s national team she had played five times.
Kahraman arrives with potential as a 20-year-old who last played for Alamein FC at U19 level. A year prior in 2022, Kahraman received four votes in the Women’s State League 1 North-West best and fairest, lining up for Keilor Park SC that season.
Zikas is a re-signing for the 2024 campaign, a former Box Hill United junior who is continuing to make positive strides at the age of 20.
Box Hill United wishes all four players the very best for this season 2024.
