NPL Women Match Preview: Round 16 at FC Bulleen Lions

Box Hill United will travel to David Barro Stadium at Veneto Club on Saturday night in Round 16 of NPL Women.

The Senior Women were immense in a 4-0 win away to Alamein, getting full reward for strong performances in recent weeks, where Rhianna Pollicina and Deven Jackson both scored two goals each.

Against a ladder-leading FC Bulleen Lions, it will be a great exhibition of talent, particularly with Box Hill’s A-League Women’s contingent firing.

FC Bulleen Lions players to watch:

The Pythagoras defence will face the highest scoring team so far this season.

Maja Markovski has been the standout performer with 13 goals from 15 matches, and is in second place for the league in finding the back of the net.

Alana Cortellino is next best, contributing five goals herself playing every game.
