Joining Box Hill United ahead of the 2024 season, Andrew Cartanos’ role as Senior Men’s Assistant Coach is the first in his coaching career after retiring in 2023.
After starting out at South Melbourne FC, his most memorable moments came at Heidelberg United. During the six years at the Warriors, he was involved in the club’s ‘golden era’ between 2017-2019 which brought in three consecutive Premier’s Plates in NPL Victoria, a Championship & Premiership double in 2018, and also the national NPL title – defeating Bayswater City SC, APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC and Brisbane Strikers FC in the process.
After being part of so much success at Heidelberg United, Andrew brings a wealth of experience for the Box Hill United squad to learn from – especially in the big games.
