Tarek Atta: ”The fans are in for an exciting season, come back the boys at Wembley”

Box Hill United is pleased to confirm the signing of attacking midfielder Tarek Atta for the 2024 Senior Men’s season.

The 21-year-old has been around in many different locations in his early career and he discussed his years of previous experience which includes a short stint in Dubai.

“I played at Werribee, been based in Perth most of my life and played in Dubai as well for Fleetwood United,” he said.

Atta says he bases his game on Manchester City midfielders Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne and the talented Atta has shown similar qualities at his previous clubs.

Atta spoke about the desire to get on the scoresheet in his first season at the club and echoed the club’s main target for the upcoming campaign.

“Individually, I’d like to be getting around 10 goals, this of course involves creating and assisting for my teammates as well,” he said.

“Team wise, we are definitely aiming for top four this season.”

Atta is extremely excited for the season to kick off and the fans should be as well in his message to supporters.

“The fans are in for an exciting season, come back the boys at Wembley,” he concluded.
