Team Manager required for Senior Men’s VPL 2 team
Box Hill United is seeking a dedicated Team Manager to oversee the general running of our Senior Men’s team.
About the role:
The Team Manager will play a key role in freeing the coaching staff to concentrate on the coaching and training aspects of the team.
The Team Manager should be the liaison person between Players (and/or guardians), the coaches and other club officials. Team Managers work closely with the Coach to bring about a high level of standards, organisation, team spirit & camaraderie within the team and with all other members of the Club.
Successful management of the team and welfare of the players will be important, whilst making sure that all off field matters are dealt with efficiently and timely.
The Team Manager will help to complete, maintain, and organise the necessary tasks of scheduling, paperwork, and communications.
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Co-ordinate training days and match days as per coaches requirement.
- Look after playing uniforms and make sure they are prepared for each match day.
- Communicate with board members to ensure smooth daily operations at Wembley Park
- Manage water bottles, training bibs, GPS bibs and ice baths.
- Lock up after training and home games.
- Manage playing group requirements and requests.
- Make sure facilities both home and away are always kept tidy.
Renumeration:
Role is required three nights a week approx. 6.15pm to 9.30pm and game nights/days. Position renumeration will be available to the suitably qualified candidate by negotiation and based on the agreed structure of the role.
