Arefa Allah Yari: “I’m excited for the challenge of senior level”

Box Hill United FC is pleased to confirm the signing of Arefa Allah Yari to the Senior Women’s squad for 2024.

A full-back with great potential, the 19-year-old has earned her first senior NPL contract, having previously worked her way up the ranks at Southern United FC throughout the Victorian Premier League Womens set up.

Now in her fourth season overall, Allah Yari is motivated to lead by example for the Afghanistan community.

“It is a new challenge stepping up to the senior level but one I am truly excited by,” she said.

“My journey started in the U17 level and have been passionate to improve ever since.”

Allah Yari shared her ambitions and goals for the 2024 campaign in a message to supporters:

“I can’t wait to start the season at a new Club in Box Hill,” she said.

“It’s a new experience, I hope to see you all in the stands watching.”
