Stefanos Sakalis Joins United in 2024
We are delighted to announce Stefanos Sakalis as our U13 Girls Head Coach for season 2024. Stefanos has extensive coaching experience at youth level boys and girls at Eastern lions, South Melbourne and Box Hill United which brings a lot of worldly football experience to help extend and prepare our young footballers for senior football.
Over the years Stefanos has been a strong development and inspirational coach to many girls now playing senior football in NPL, A league and young Matildas level. Stefanos is excited to be continuing at BHUFC for his 11th season and is looking forward to taking a new generation of young players on the football journey as he looks to develop a new crop of players for our club. Box Hill thanks Stefanos for his loyalty and for giving back to football inspired by the women’s 2023 world cup.
