Theo Aravanis Joins Box Hill United 

We are delighted to announce Theo as our U15 Girls Coach for the 2024 season.

Theo has extensive coaching experience at Youth Girls Level and at Senior Women’s Level.

He arrives at Wembley Park after 2 successful seasons with FC Bulleen Lions where he coached the U13 NPLW team in 2022 and the U15 NPLW team in 2023. Throughout these 2 seasons. Players that he has coached have made NTC squads and in 2022 his U13 team finished 2nd on the ladder and achieved Runners Up in the Grand Final.

He also achieved a 3rd placed finish with the U15s and made finals in 2023 while many of his players had the opportunity to train and play in the U17s side. Previously he was the Senior Women’s Head Coach at FC Clifton Hill from 2016 to 2022 where he established a newly formed team in 2016 starting in State League 4 and in 2022 they competed in State League 1 achieving Promotions and Championships along the way. From 2014 to 2018 Theo also coached various Junior Girls teams at FC Clifton Hill where he was fortunate enough to win various Championships at U14/U16 level and also see junior players make their Senior debuts and be players at the club for many years. Theo has a passion for player development and getting the best out of each player both individually and in a team setting. 

We are excited to have Theo now join as at Box Hill to help develop our players on their way to senior football.
